Yes, fake buckle. However an interesting way to try and sell a fake. This is the 2nd movie prop buckle that has been offered recently. The other was a fake SS officer's buckle with tag identifying it as being a prop used in the movies Cross of Iron. I watched this movie many times and there is not one shot of a SS officer's buckle in the entire film. Maybe it was never used but the tag attached listed it in the 6th take I believe.
For what is is worth.
