      The buckle is original, the strange thing is that the markings are under the prongs post , intermediate type?

              The "Types" I introduced years ago was based on marking location. Only Type one has marking by the catch (scarcer type). The Type 2 (common) has marking under the postsleeve assembly. So Raphael is 100% correct.

                Yes, the type is defined by the position of the marking, in this case it is a 155/40 type 2 (similar to the 155/43 type 1) but I insist that catch is the same one as in 155/40 type 1

                  My input was just to stress that there was not enough difference to generate another Type.
