Great buckle, glad you got it. I have one constructed in the same way,absolutely same reverse, obverse also a diamond, but mine has a Wolfsangel type of insignia I have always associated with Pfadfinder. I seem unable to post pictures (must be something to do with my Windows settings, I have tried while disabling my pop-up guard but to no avail). Christian has pics of this buckle. Maybe if he reads this he would be so kind as to post those. If he doesn't, I'll email them to you to have a look at and post as you see fit. Whatever organisation it belongs to, yours is a really great buckle. Congrats!

How interesting Karl that the two buckles share exactly the same construction and certain physical features.

Many thanks to yourself and Christian for posting this buckle, as I was sure that the Scharnhorstbund was actually part of a right wing or nationalistic logo family.

I think that your buckle has confirmed this, however I wonder, any others within the series ?

EXCELLENT buckles David and Karl!!! These are for sure 100% original nice and scarce items. I also enjoy the pictures of the Jung Scharnhorstbund, Scharnhorstbund buckles and pictures are hard to find.

I think I know where your come from David, I just missed it….
