Hello all,
I have recently added this WH buckle to my collection, but I have some doubts about it. Is it common for a steel buckle to have prongs made out of aluminium ?
The buckle itself has no maker mark that I can see, and the stamp on the leather tongue is very weak: only the location (Lüdenscheid) is visible.
There are some traces of wear and the leather is rather stiff, but I'm really not sure if the buckle is a good one.
What do you think about it ?
Many thanks for your opinion,
Jeff
