One piece Police buckles made by R.Sieper are indeed looking the exact same. It is also a long while we are thinking maker 822 was Richard Sieper. And we know the maker of one pieces zinc SS buckles marked 822/42 is also the maker of those aluminum ones. So, indeed, odds are really good. But we still have to find the evidence which most likely will come with an unique feature common to all.Jean Pierre Redeuilh

Hi all,
I know it's not confirmed. But I know only two makers who produced die casted aluminium buckles, Sieper & Schröder. It looks not like a Wilhelm Schröder production but it has many features from the Luftwaffen and the police buckle by Sieper.
So, there are only two possibilities 1.It is Richard Sieper or 2.A mystery maker who produced no other aluminium die casted buckle except a very few SS buckles (using probably a Sieper tool).
