Here is a strange SA buckle and which by a decidedly suspect RZM 51 stamping, suggests having been manufactured by the well known Noelle und Hueck GmbH of Lüdenscheid.
I know this SA roundel by the specific design and have attached images of a more standard SA which displays the same design of eagle and swastika.
In addition, the missing square to the reverse is somewhat unusual, although not unheard of and I have attached images of another SA which has a slot to the reverse of the box. There is a suggestion that these buckle boxes started life as Imperial or early Wiemar and were utilised by others as a stop gap measure to supply a demand.
Regards,
David
