Hello Jimmy Another member found a Fire Defense officers belt and used it with a nickel SS officers buckle. It's black leather and works fine and and you can usually fined a set for 100-125 dollars. A lot of people don't trust SS marked belts.
I would like to thank JP for posting the photos. I didn't know there was a type 1 and 2. It was nice to know I own the rarer type 1.Attached Files

Type 2 has four large hallmarks, the same as found on latest 36/40's.
The outer ring surrounding those four hallmarks can be found on any Type, been 1 or 2. But it is indeed visible more often on Type 1's and scarcer on Type 2's.Jean Pierre Redeuilh
