Hallo Duane,
nothing wrong with your SHD buckle, it's 100% original

Hello,
In looking at these steel "RS&S" buckles I notice that the letters are incised.
The buckle shown here from a dealer's site has raised letters. It also has a strange "washer" on the swivel bar of the belt hooks. Is it a REPRO?

Hello,
all the original SHD buckles I observed are with raised letters, if you notice them incised probably it's due to the digital picture : btw, the buckle posted is 100 % original.

I'm sorry, I think I did not ask my question clearly enough, I was refering to the maker's mark. If you look at this comparison, the above examples have incised letters while the one on the dealer's site are raised. Are both acceptable or is the one BO?
Thanks again,
