        hi,i know its not a 43, im not 100% sure on mine but here it is, my other thats a 43 has no tab

                  I'm afraid there is a little chance to see a buckle from 1943 with a leather tab, because I think, that 1942 was last official year of buckles with leather tabs.

                  Are there any proved pieces from 1943 with a leather tongue out there?

                    43 with tab is indeed not common but the above buckle is original.
