    Here we go again.

Three more very interesting DJ's, posted on behalf of Maik.

The first one as nickle plated brass, although displaying an unusual and wide feet catch.

    Regards,

    David

Nickle on steel by Linden as a very unusual combination.

Thankyou again Maik for allowing your DJ buckles to be included within this thread.

The inclusion of some quite remarkable buckles, although the one that sticks out like a sore thumb of course, is the "black" one.

Could you provide any further information. A spectacularly difficult buckle to gauge and I wonder, does it have provenance. Do you think that the black paint is period to the buckle and also, what is the И - aluminium ?

                Anything would be welcome.

In the meantime - three more.

                Regards,

                David

                              Black DJ

                              Hello David !

I purchased this black DJ buckle from a dealer near Fulda (Germany).
He buy only old stuff from the farmers in his area.
I get this buckle with a bad small (the one for the small size buckles) leather belt in brown colour.
The S rune is aluminium, I think.
Corpus is made of brass and the black colour is original for me.
It is well worn, you can see the brass coming out under the prong bar.
The colour looks perfectly, no bubbles or anything else like self painting.

                              Best

                              regards

                              Maik

Thankyou for the background information Maik.

I thought that this "black" DJ would have caused certain Forum members to froth at the mouth, although apparently not so.

The images from your collection and that you have provided, being greatly appreciated and I must admit, I do rather like the nickle on steel DJ by Linden.

                                Regards,

                                David

p.s. - any other non DJ buckles that you would like to post ?
