SS buckle, real or fake?

It IS a fake. The same old friend from East Europe we are seeing over and over. At least, it is the first time I was not able to tell right away (meaning within five seconds) looking at the first photo (front view). The artificial aging process did really a good job on this one to hide many details. But seeing the back does not leave any doubt.Jean Pierre Redeuilh

Sergey, maybe it's cuased by how the pictures were taken but this variation is not the same as the common fakes from East Europe in my oppinion. Also I don't think that it's upgrading variation of those, because "Czech Market" I know quite well and never seen one like that before. I think that the buckle comes from diffrent die. The eagle is more fat with very small head, completely diffrent than in Czech fakes, also the chest looks diffrent from it's front side. That's why I asked if anyone had picture of exactly the same buckle. It's hard to judge from those pictures, I asked Mr. Bresa about some other shots of the buckle but no reply from his side. I can be wrong but I think that this forum is a right place to discuss such things. I am not saying that the buckle is good or bad, just want to find out something more about the variation.

Blazej

I am agree it has some differences in disign ( not so serious), because it is a new fake, but their main details still easy identify it as a fake. And I am sure it comes from the same source as 155/40 fakes.
