Hi,

Impossible to tell when fitted to a trailer, this hook is not complete, there would be a steel sleeve fitted over the vertical pintle that gives a wider diameter base to the pintle, like all Gernan hooks it would then have two different diameters.

Saw one in Italy years ago but are very rare and almost impossible to distinguish when fitted and used in WWII photos.
