radiator cap

I don't think this cap comes from a radiator of any type of panzer.
its a brass cap with aluminium topping., the alu part doesn't make sense for a panzer. To me the aluminium part is only a fraction of the complete ornament that it once was . So it is rather a cap from a truck or passenger car , maybe it was a Mercedes and the star ornament is missing
