Hi all,
Finally I can post this in the right forum section!
I was offered two "SS" tunics recently, one turned out to be an awful fake and the other turned out to be a 100% original leather wrapper/pant set, though the insignia was highly questionable on the collars (shoulder boards are HG luft and under review though likely real). The set was determined to probably be either NSKK or Kreigsmarine (though panzer drivers wore both of these sets late war) and I was wondering about the insignia.
So far people have not liked the unpiped collartabs, I would like your opinions on them and maybe some pointers on if the skulls are real or not. If not, what would be the best way to take them off? They are also backed by red felt/cloth making the eyes "glow", which is kind of unusual. Many thanks guys!
