      Hey Phil . It has been I think at least 10 years but yes that is the Clive I am referring to. I do not remember too much. I know that I was going to buy 2 kk and that Andy Tiernan wound up getting them. Andy may remember more of the deets. After Andy restored his Krad he sold me the same 2. I had them for a few years in storage at Andy's and never took delivery of it. I sold them to purchase other ww2 vehicles. One was an early '42. I think but do not quote my, 1 may have been a Stoewer. Kettenkrads are my first love do not get me wrong! I just had some good oppurtunity to get into a big project. Yes, I have a Kubel as well. Were you not also thinking of restoring one. Anyway I will take a look at VW 166. Thanks much.More pics coming soon. Where did you get your rubber pads for the drive sprockets? Jim

        re my krad.

        Andy tiernan had it first then you in about 2000 but did not take delivery, then you sold "mine"

        is that when you sold it to Clive or to someone else?

        just sent you email about vw166

        yes, got a kubel, still sorting out the twisted bodywork

          sorry, forgot to say, those pads on the sprocket were already on it, didn't need to replace them
