WOW!! I just found this thread and imagine my surprise when I saw the first pics of it! I was at that auction bidding against you! It got to rich for me though. But there were a lot of extra parts! I am glad to see someone here got it! I picked up the pak 36 though. Very nice piece! I got a lot from that auction all great stuff! It was a fine collection of items!

that is a shame about that torch going with the kubel. It was with all the krad parts on a shelf. I hope it did not get legs and walk away. There were a lot of people going in and out of the building where they had the pak 36, krad, and kubel stored. There was one kid there watching but he really seemed preoccupied with his cell phone.

Hopefully I do not have to bid against you in another auction, you were vicious!

Hey Phil Its Jim from the US. I agree the Cover is neat. If you have one made would it be possible to have 2 made? one for myself as well. Anyway I ohope all is well. How is your KK runnung? Jim

I found out it was Valdimir Lehar of lehar military vehicles who supplies them

received mine last tuesday......nice

will fit it on saturday

only 80 Euros

Kettenkrad cover

Hey Phil, Thanks much. I was going to wait on the "icing on the cake items" till my project is moving along a little further. I have heard through the rumor mill that Lehar is getting divorced and selling of his collection? Have you heard anything along these lines? I am not into gossip BUT my only concern would be that this situation might impede his production output? Therefore I may put in another big order soon. Happy with his work so far. Glad your vehicle is running good. you have got to be happy. I can hardly wait till mine is at the finishing point. Been on vacation this week try to knock out as much as poss. Jim

Hello Willem, Not sure if you received my other email. Anyway just wanted to let you know thanks for taking so many detailed pics. Since your Kettenkrad is one of the most original around I am using your pictures for reference as I restore my KK. It helps to see what a KK should look like. Jim

got the file but not managed to get my home steam driven pc to open the zip file yet

will try tomorrow at the office

just had to drive my kettenkrad yesterday in the lovely spring sunshine......it was fun

I see you had several KK.......

where are they now?.....what were the serial numbers.........i am trying to compile a kettenkrad register

do you have pics of those or are they in the file you sent.

if you want me to post the pics on here for you i can
