Here's another rare sight for a Panzer collector, a dfhd dated 1943. This was the headset issued to the commander and driver in the early Panzers before the advent of the Panzerkasten 20. By 1943 even the earlier production panzers were retrofitted with the Kasten 20, so these dfhd sets were completely phased out of Panzer use and only a trickle of them survived, having found use in the Panzerspähwagen of the Ordnungpolizei. The 43 date will point to Police use.

Ok, I collected more info on the makers, logos and their Wehrmacht Codebuchsteiben.
I know three makers for Panzer headphones:
• SABA (Schwarzwälder Apparaten-Bau-Anstalt, Villingen), dnz
Also premier maker of the UKW Panzer sets.
• ErPeEs (Robert Pfäffle, Schwennigen), elh
• DTW (Deutsche Telefonwerke, Berlin), bxo
As for the magnets in the headset:
• Böhler&Co (Wien, Berlin, Düsseldorf), cbr
• Deltawerk Hugo Linder (Solingen).
(Usually one Delta mark is on the magnet as a logo, I'll try to find a picture later.)
• Ludwig Braun Magnet- und Metalwaren-Fabrik (Frankfurt a/Main)
• Zwilling J. A. Henckels, (Solingen, since 1731!!! Later: Henckels Zwillingswerke), edg
Yes, it's the same company you have some metalware in the kitchen
There's another marking on the magnet, the "N" (Nord), representing the North pole of it.
I hope you all can now identify your Panzer headset parts/makers!
Take care Volks, Csaba
