You may think what you want to think.
I'm still thinking that this is a Panther part .

Have you compared a texture and direction to Pz.IV' part?

Texture is the same (rhomb), the different is a direction.
Panther was assembled on several plants, and the direction could be different at the different plants.

For example, another restored Panther :

Yep, you are right. It's very probably that pedals were different:

                            new parts found

                            Hi Paul

So you found more of those Panther wheel washers
The parts on the other pics ressemble like shellfragments?
hard to determine what it is at this stage.

Btw the pole of the "cross" definitely is a barrel from a jagdpanzer IV L70
the front end is a prominent feature.
                            ciao

                              Yes you are right.
I think that the tank was destroyed with the HEAT round.

You must wait a moment. I cannot search and clean things at the same time

First photo is things found in front of vehicle (except lock washers),
second and third photo is things found in turret section - gunner and commander side.

                              Bakelite found today:

                              Like I say

In my area are crosses from kwk40, flak 36(??), T-34 85, Panther drive sprocket

                                Hi Paul,

A lot of small parts hard to determine I guess
the bakelit parts can be from episcopes etc.

Since you found so many small parts, maybe the panzer was blown up using it own ammo that was still inside?

Try to widen your search area next time (in a circle of 25 m), maybe you'll find parts there too and thus proofs a theory of a massive explosion.

if you don't find anything in that wider search area, then the vehicle was simply scrapped on the spot.

yesterday I received some parts too....have a guess
