      just thought I would add a couple of bits I just got last week in Normandy

      first of what we believe is an early Panzer IV track link (if anyone could confirm for me) its 36cm in width

        other side, this was found near Mathieu, about 4 miles NW of Caen, possibly a tank from the 21st Panzer division

          rubber track pad from a Demag halftrack, found in Falaise, have just taken this out of an electrolysis bath

              not quite a tank part but a key possibly from a BMW motorbike, can just make out the Bosch logo, this was found in the Falaise area also

                I think I have seen a similar type key that was for a Jadgpanther I think. Do a search here...

                  Although there are some subtypes with little difference tThis type of key is a standart part widely used on any type of equipment - civil and military. It was even produced after the war ...
