    Silver Wound Badge L/15

    Hi guys,

Does anyone out there have a wound badge like this? I don't recall ever seeing one like this before. At first glance, I thought it was an unmarked '30' with a replaced hinge. The badge is marked with an 'L/15' within a rectangle. Sorry, but these are the only pictures I have. I would like to hear some opinions about this L/15 (Schickle) Wound Badge. Thank you for any and all opinions.

    Best regards,
    Tom

        Hi Tom,

A very nice and hard to find original. I have a couple like it, at least one is marked. I'm not at home so I can't check.

          Thanks for responding, Mike.

Although I never saw one like this before, it sure screamed real to me. It looks like an over-abundance of soldering paste was used in applying the hinge.

          Best regards,
          Tom

                Hi Tom,

Looks very believable to me as well, like you say it screams original. Great finish remaining as well.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

This type can be found marked for Zimmerman...

Bottom line original award marked or unmarked for both makers...

It´s much more than that Chris. The WB i posted is in my collection and is double marked - L/15 and L/52. The L/15 is visible on the pic on the badge it self.
Other Schickle badges can also be found double marked
