Hi to all,
Frank to me your badge is a later type as you have accepted. Some very interesting comments from Javier ! the first to apperar since the W.B. book regarding the dots and the two rivets and the vent. hole, as for the swastica being stepped? i thought this was characteristic to later issues, can any one confirm these points?
As previously stated requested no person has condemed the info in Hamelman book but he states,
a) only one manufacturer
b) a high swastica (1.5mm high)
c) edges were sharply defined (90 degrees)
d) swastica was flush with helmet surface
e) badges were stamped??
Will be glad to hear any more comments on this subject speak soon Ashley
