        Justin, thanks for the extra pics. I was hoping that they might help with identifying the maker, but there are several makers who use this setup. That said it is still a nice and good BWB example

        Maybe one of the WB gurus will be able to identify the maker.

            Justin,
            I've got several possible matches, the shortlist is Deumer (3), S&L (4), Godet (21), Tham (103), Ziemer (111) and Lang (117) my favourite being 117 .
            The shortlist is based on the reverse hardware and some of the die characteristics on the obverse, but it's difficult to see much difference between any of these in terms of the obverse.
            What clinches it for me is an apparent flaw on the RH side of the guard on the RH bayonet. The last two ribs seem to be raised, similar to an image of a badge that's previously been deemed a 117 that I've got in my archives .
