Hi guys,
Been so busy with the forum upgrade that I haven't had much time to enjoy the hobby! I have been buying all along but the badges are piling up on my desk, I am finally getting time to scan them in and get organized.
Here is one of my recent WB pickups, I believe it is a Deschler/Wiedmann and is made from zink (big thanks to William Kramer @ Wehrmacht-Militaria). There appears to be a silver plating over the zink, and then black finish applied to it. Looking at the reverse hardware setup, I would have put my money on Wiedmann as the maker of these, but I assume that some of these can be found marked L/10 so that is where Deschler comes into play? Would love to hear your thoughts on this one and hoping you can enlighten me on the Deschler connection with these.
Thanks guys.
Tom
