Hey Guys,

unfortunately my #$%^& home computer is down yet again,so i am unable to scan stuff for the moment,Ive been enjoying the thread-alot of great stuff being posted-Ralph do you have the semi official tinnie count(not includeing duplicates?)I swear ill get some tinnies posted hear sooner or later(if there not all posted allready!)Ive got so many questions/comments on your guys tinnies im gonna have to spend a day going back over this thread taking notes!

Ralph - Do you have an unoffical count ?? That would be amazing to know - there has to be thousands...but isn't that what makes tinnies so enjoyable.

This has been one of the most popular threads on the WCA and you guys, Mike Dunn, Richard, and a host of others have kicked butt !!

As far as I can come up with as a few posts wouldn't open for me so I couldn't count their items and eliminating the duplicates and unrelated items posted the unoffical count I came up with was 414 tinnies posted here sofar not bad for the 9 or 10 people posting..

Kevin, In 1941 the German Ministry of Propaganda estimated there were over 32,000 pieces of different designs of these Donation and Propaganda badges. And just think there were four more years to go before the end came. This number came from R.Kahl's book Insignia, Decorations and Badges of the Third Reich.

That is an astounding piece of data !! 32,000 plus almost 4 more years. I figured we had all posted over a thousand, but their surely were many duplicates.

I just purchased both of Tieste's references to enhance the Manion's books I have.
