    Hi Chris. Where did you get the photos of this badge? Hi Graeme, I was comparing the two badges and you are right. They appear to be the same exact badge. I purchased this badge from an antique store in the city of Orange, California a month ago. Very strange. Jay

        Okay, then yes it is the same badge. I saw it at the same place and took a photo of it because it didnt look right.

        Maybe the badge is real but just heavily cleared and polished which is why it has such a funky look to it? Maybe being devoid of finish makes the pebbling between the letters look off?

        There are no lines in the number on the reverse...which I have never seen on any badge other than this one.
