If the HJ is by a maker called Otto Hoffmann, it is a fake. They have been around for years and come in standard red, plus every color of the rainbow (green for "Hungarian HJ", black for "SS-HJ" and a bunch of others). Check www.epier.com and you'll find dozens of them.

IMHO, all of the above are fakes, some of them severely artificially aged. Sorry.

I've seen the suggestion that the "Erwache" and "Hitler - 1933" badges were reissued, but never any evidence. I believe they should never be RZM'ed and Cone was mistaken in his book.

the Green hungarian is no good for reasons stated....
imo the HJ is ok and the Deutchland erwache as Don Stated was initially issued prior to RZM codes being issued...there is evidence to suggest that it was reissued to commemorate the "rise to power" in the 36 time frame...so i would not dismiss it out of hand...though the pictures are poor...i think you may be allright with it
