I believe that the plate is put together. The holes for the screws are not typically and the screws themselves either. Also the eagle remember me that I have seen those as copies and the hanger is also put later. Maybe that the Nürnberg sign is original, but all meeting badges on wall plates which I know are fixed above a metal dedication plate.

There might be a fellow forum member that’s willing to sell you one from their collection.

Manu,
1. Scroll to bottom of the forum to The Militaria E-Stand.
2. At the bottom, you’ll see Wanted Bulletin Board.
3. Click, and create a new post for the item that you are searching for.
You never know, perhaps there’s another forum member who has a 29’ RPT badge that they are willing to part with. Many / most forum members are honest and trustworthy collectors; thus, you should feel somewhat confident in what you’re purchasing is 100% period.
But you are also welcome to post a potential item for purchase in the forum. Which, I see you are very familiar with.
Good luck. It took me about a few months until I was able to find one for my collection.

hi.
small damages have all the old things, we speak of the year 1929. That does not mean, that is false for that reason. Regarding the irregular surface, frankly, I do not see anything that particularly catches my attention. I see the towers with the windows well detailed and what has caught my attention the most are those two notches on the left and right as if there had been a metal bar pressing horizontally for a long time.
The reason I bid is because a member of this forum , ErichS, told me it was original. But anyway, I'll stay with her.
I do not understand very well that the eagle seems mounted ... No one says anything good about the plate. But they told me it was original and that they had seen similar copies in Max for 400 e and I believed it. Who is 100% sure it is a fake? and I mean the plate, not the display. Thanks for trying to help me friend Nische.
the displeasure I have again is ... to die of grief

What do you think of this. The box is fake, I think it's obvious.
The badge with the number 800 on the back, does this make any sense? What do you think? imo is fake, but ... I know there are very wise people here!
Thanks and a pleasure to greet you again.
Manu.
