Andreas, im confused? Somehow i never saw your first post with picture, but i meant the last one you posted and don't like that setup.

I would expect to see "a long needle" running over the whole reverse on these badges and not a safety needle with a pinplate attached to the reverse of the badge?

The one posted by Dion has a good chance imo. It looks like a "835" stamped in upside down in regards to the engraving, so... a silver mark?? Looking forward to more pictures.

    regards,
    Gaston

In conclusion, Helmut Weitze's and Hermann Historica's offerings are for fakes ?

Interestingly enough, Bouhler's looks like an ordinary member pin set up with oakleaves. This was on Weitze's site and now is in the Hermann Historica auction and includes the award document.

          Mine came in the mail

Gerry, feel free to post on your forum, I have to keep photographing and working as usual.

It is an 835 mark upside down.
          Best,
          Dion

Not the quality of engraving you expect on such a high end award.

                Hey Wim

I would think that was not meant to be an official engraving. Looks like something persionally done.

Thats one of the things I liked when I bought it.

Real or repro, I knew that was not meant to be an official engraving.
