    New guy with some badges

    Hi All!

This is my first post here.... so I thought I would post some badges that I have gathered up over the years... most likely routine ones for most of you advanced guys. I dont know much about them, just that they are political (I think )

Some interesting ones as they caught my eye and I am like a crow when it comes to badges.... no particular special interest... just if its shiny and catches my eye

    Any comments are welcome...

    Enjoy.

Eisernes Kreuz (Iron Cross), hence EK followed by the class of the cross. Either first or second class.

Looks like a decent little start for a collection. As for your fake sub badge, don't let it get ya down. We all have gotten a fake here or there with out knowing it. You found a good forum for learning what to look for. I know it's helped me in the years I've been collecting. There are some good dealers out there on the web along with some screw balls. My favorite dealer is Stewarts, great customer service, good selection of original items. http://www.stewartsmilitaryantiques.com/

One to stay clear of is Snyders Treasures, my opinion the guy is a fraud and for the unsuspecting buyer will more then likely pay too much, and even maybe wind up with a fake in their collection..

            Cheers

Use google or the search engine for this forum at the top of the page. Tag der Arbeit was a tinnie issued during the 1934 Reichsparteitag in September. The tinnie with Saar was issued to celebrate the Saar plebecite wherein the Saar voted to reunify with Germany.
