    Ok.. New guy post... By request.. some crosses...

    Here you go.. some crosses that were asked about... Again... as a newb... no idea...

    No Marks on it that I can find...





    Has a small "R" or "A" on the ring....






    No marks on this either....

    1. I don't know Hindy's without marks (the first cross) -- but they may exist. However, these are being faked, believe it or not.

    2. I think your 1914 EK2 is just fine. May be maker R.

    3. Looks like a cast copy of a Schenkl "27" but that may be the photos. Will the center black portion with the swastika on it (the core) attract a magnet?

      Answer to #3 - does not attract magnet....

      Is is suppose to? (IRON CROSS.. duh...) GOOD GOD.. fakes....

      #2 is magnetic.... (guess I learned something... thanks!)

      I know this one is a fake...

        The Iron Cross 1939 is a fake, the paint is going up to the frame..
        The common EK2 is 3pieces, magnetic core, there's a space between core and frame (you can put a paper there)..

          Hello,

          Although that cross does appear to be a repro, from what I can see at the moment, the presence of paint on the frame is not a positive indicator that it's a fake. Period authentic crosses can be found with paint on the frames.

              I am also pretty sure that the 1939 EK2 is a cast copy.
              You can clearly see poc marks in the core.
