I think it is original...?!

Looks fine to me, I had my eyes on a cased one but it was soled just before i could buy it. I think it is a nice looking award. btw i love your collection of soc. welfare awards you posted on a other forum (i think that was you)

I was looking through old posts to see what I could find out
about the Feuerwehr-Ehrenzeichen. This post was it .
Only one opinion! Come on guys, there´s got to be more
out there. Well, here´s another one. Opinions are appreciated.
Btw, the stuff on the reverse is from an old price-tag.

Peter, I just noticed that the wording around the cross is not in the same position on the photo you posted

Hi Terry.

Thanks for posting. You´re correct, something smells in the land
of Denmark. I know this cross is heavily faked, so let´s hope
something good comes out of this thread.

When I first compared my cross to Koj´s, I noticed the difference
in space between the letters. Also the difference in the letter M
in "IM". As for the position of the lettering on the cross, all images
of the 2nd class I´ve seen so far match Koj´s and your´s. But when
it comes to the 1st class, things get more complicated.

The cross on the left is from Angolia´s "For Führer..." and the one
to the right is from Hüsken´s "Katalog der...".

So what´s the story here .
