Too many....they usually have nothing of value to add to a thread. Most consist of just nonsense characters, randomly typed.

I think that when people like this with little knowledge and experience chime in that a piece is bad, it will keep collectors with original pieces from posting them which will be bad for all of us.

Personally i don't think either are originals, they have too many issues not found on original badges. In my opinion no cigar, and neither one would be in my collection . Something smells about these two. Sorry neither of mine look anything like the 30mm version, and the 25 is too poorly made . Red flags are flyin in more ways than one on both of these. Id sell em both back to where they came from. The research may be correct for the number, but why do you think they want to log all the known versions into data bases? Its so they wont be embarrassed when the original shows up when they fake a particular number, so just because they are researched , doesn't mean the badges are the originals owned by that man. Thats my opinion and i'm stickin to it. Sorry im the only dissenter here, but whena real collector buys two in one deal , one is rarely ever sold off if original. you may attack me now sevous plet.

Both absolutely textbook original examples. No question.

I can only assume that jouneen's GPBs are not real if they don't look anything like these.

Thanks Stephen for chiming in! Your site is a must for these badges. I feel the same as others here about these badges. It seems like the price ranges are a little debatable but outstanding examples without a doubt. Things come and go and im debating on selling one or maybe both to fund a bigger purchase!

I hope no one minds me chipping in here (not GPB related) but Erichs sentiments are the reason I do not post my items on here. Although I have a modest collection, it does include a 1st pattern Blood Order, 1st pattern Coburg, attributed NSDAP 10 and 15 yr awards and certs and some other , what I consider to be nice and rare peices.Stupid comments like those made regarding the GPBs in this thread often cause concern for collectors and don`t do those of us who collect modestly any good at all.

Coburg, it sounds as though you have more than a modest collection and I for one would love to see it, but I understand your concerns about posting it. Hopefully some of these knuckleheads will try and learn something here rather than down other collectors pieces with out having the least bit on knowledge on the subject.
