I enjoy this forum and have learned more than i could ever express here. But there are some people who can ruin an item to the new upcoming collector by the statements made. They may have a legit period item in their hand and are looking thru the archives to research and see where an item just like theirs got a bad comment. They are forever scared!! hahahahaha

I still have both these items in hand and they are great wonderful period items. I hate to let one or both go but thats how it is sometimes.

    Cheers,

        Jim,

The trolls who post this kind of nonsense are always recognized, and can be ignored just as easily. I think the positive responses and valuable opinions that are posted here for legitimate pieces, FAR outweigh the nonsense that some morons post.
If you recognize that there are idiots here (as there are everywhere), you shouldn't let it stop you from posting items that the rest of us would enjoy seeing.

(When I say "the rest of us", I'm making the assumption that I am NOT an idiot, which might still be up for debate....)

        I hope you'll reconsider.....Welcome to the forum...

        Cheers,
        Bob.

I hope that those experienced collectors continue to show their pieces so that everyone can learn. Also, it's fun for all level of collectors to show off their treasures, which makes this hobby more fun and interactive for all!

'Coburg' -Jim and I have been talking via e-mail and I must say his contributions would be most welcome here, he has some very nice items in his collection and well researched.
The more of us political collectors the merrier.

Hey guys! While the large one has been spoken for, I still have the small attributed badge that im thinking of selling. It comes with 7 pages from Robert McDivitt Research!

What would be a decent price range on this example given the outstanding condition, chained device, and research given on this one?

Any help provided is greatly appreciated

                        Many Thanks,

IMO, due to it not being attributed to a notable personality, 1500.00-1800.00. A great pin all the same!

In my opinion no cigar, and neither one would be in my collection . Something smells about these two. Sorry neither of mine look anything like the 30mm version, and the 25 is too poorly made . Red flags are flyin in more ways than one on both of these. Id sell em both back to where they came from. The research may be correct for the number, but why do you think they want to log all the known versions into data bases? Its so they wont be embarrassed when the original shows up when they fake a particular number, so just because they are researched , doesn't mean the badges are the originals owned by that man. Thats my opinion and i'm stickin to it. Sorry im the only dissenter here, but whena real collector buys two in one deal , one is rarely ever sold off if original. you may attack me now sevous plet.

                              Wow.
