I've got some more valuable information regarding the Sachsen tinnie and the occasion it was issued for.

Sunday, 24. /25. March 1934 - " Honour day sachs. SA" in Dresden with group marching-up of 125.000 to 150,000 SA-Männern and large tattoo. Röhm formulated the requirement of the SA " the will and idea carrier of the National Socialist German Revolution" to be. Hitler had already rejected Röhms conception for a militia army under its guidance.

There was also a magazine that was published on this event.

Thanks to Karin-Renate and laurens for providing me with this great info.

            Nice one!

Is this solid version molded, unlike the others wich seems to be stamped?

Just looking at the picture of the reverse it appears to me that the badge is a normal hollow struck badge that has been back filled, but better pictures will tell for sure.

I've had the same thought too.

Maybe in order to replace a broken pin?

You might be right that it is a fill-in, as the workmanship is very rough!
                        Another photo.

Too bad about the pin, but still without a doubt a nice badge.

I've framed some items and here's a pic I took of my Sachsen tinnie, along with my early "Bismarck" SA-dagger, gau stamped Ns for Niedersachsen.
Also in the frame is a early NSDAP membership badge produced by Gottlieb Friedrich Keck & Sohn(Pforzheim) and an early NSDAP cap eagle.

Unforunatly the Blood order is only a spacefiller.....at the moment.

So based on the lack of replies to this question, is it safe to assume that these are the only cities found on these badges

                                Thx, Lance
