    SA badge - Sachsen 25.3.1934

Opinions wanted on this SA badge - Sachsen 25.3.1934 - good or bad?

This one is unknown to me, so any info would be highly appreciated.

Sorry for the poor reverse photo, but these are the only ones available at the time.

    tinnie

Looks fine to me. Nice large SA tinnie. Value wise, very hard to say with the way the tinnie market is going. Back in the day these would be going for $60-$75. Now, if you had one you wanted to sell, it could linger at $45 or less sorry to say

      Thanks for your quick reply.

This one's up for sale for about $120, but I'm waiting for the seller to lower the price...

Are these large tinnies very scarce?

This one measures around 5,5 by 4,2 centimeters.

On what occation were these "awarded"?

They`re not scarce but they`re not real common either. The SA guys love these tinnies but I think $120 is a bit to high. If you`re really into tinnies and want it for your collection I`d hold out to see if it goes to the $75 - $80 mark. They`re to common for the $120 asking price

            Thanks again.

I called the seller on the phone and we negotiated back and forth for a while....Closed the deal at about $98....SOLD!

I really wanted this tinnie bad....It will make a very nice addition to my SA-dagger display - Bismarck SA, gau stamped Ns, Niedersachsen.

I've never seen one of these tinnies up for sale here in Norway before, so I guess they're a bit more scarce here than they are over there?

I ask again; does anyone know which occasion these were issued for?

Well done on your buy I`ve dropped some big money on examples that no one else would want, only because I really liked it and was happy I did. My opinion, You got what you wanted at a pretty good price and believe me, thats what counts. Well Done

                Thanks!

A little bit expensive, but at least I got it.

Nice one, there is an almost identical one for Stuttgart. These may
have been sold for a sporting event, or a gathering or march.
                  Regards

Thanks, I saw that one when I was searching for info about these tinnies.

Quite a bit cheaper, but not quite so near by.

Here is an example of the Stuttgart tinnie that you will have to find to go along with the one you have just added to you collection, good hunting.

Just received a Stuttgart one from a WAF member yesterday, also in SoCal (hmmm..., just kidding).

                              Are there any other variations/cities?

                              Thanks, Lance
