I see your point, and stand corrected. This badge is still a fantasy piece as previously stated, i also do not believe its original by any means, as that was not the reason for my statement on the skull i mentioned.

I will explain where im coming from : I believe its possible some early badges, not necessarily ss badges, may have been worn by the ss, such as a early hitler youth sports leader badge worn by an HJ member won early ..who later transferred into the ss when he was of age or needed , as his choice of branch of service, and was allowed to wear it on his tunic.
That badge made before the tightening up of the manufacturing standards..say in 39, having pre nonstandard marks.. before pre standardizing these marks on badges was effected,as such ...may have been made by some of the numbered companies that made ss emblems, badges exclusively for the ss as the number marks used on SS eagles etc known to be made by those companies that were commissioned to manufacture just for the SS.

In that nonstandard mark there was a rzm mark included after the number as i mentioned previously. But as you stated I believe you are correct ..not on any ss award badges per se are known with an rzm mark.
I really think you are both correct . Theres a badge I am aware of ..like what i mention..and along with that badge being unusually marked in nature. (Not to get off track) ...but I also have been quite curious as to if there were ever any known HJ mountain youth branches or divisions from mountainous areas.Mountain youth divisions . Bare with me for just another second..

If so were any of the HJ mountain area chapters...were members ever awarded the hj sports leader badge for competing in those areas.. that.. later were absorbed into ski troops or SS jager divisions from the hj or possibly the hj ss division that earned tthe leaders badge?

The reason i ask is: The wreath and areas behind the said badges writing on the front of the badge in question i referr to had traces of green paint all over the backround and wreath, and green to me .. suggests mountain jager, so.. thats a question for another time for the HJ specialists in the future.
Thanks again ,and i hope this helps you understand what brought me to say what i said... , so ill try to think my statements out better next time . I still try and keep an open mind always especially to the unusual. Thanks again for considering my point of view.
