    This is an interesting and potentially useful thread. However.... what I'm missing here is something other than just your 'opinion' Martin. No offence meant but can you be more specific for those of us that don't 'do' tinnies?

        Here my contribution to your stake fickpins thread.
        Ehhh, damned whisky...
        Well you know what I mean.

        These pins are faked widely.
        The details are lousy, originals are NOT made of this cheap alu-like metal, the numbers are totally wrong and so on.
        Everyone who has seen a reel one, knows the pin should show class and craftmenship.
        This doesn't.
        Still it fools a lot of starting collectors!
        (Alright: it fooled me when I started so I suggest it can fool others too.)
