Hello Doug, It actually reads as VDA on the shields, which stands for Volksbund fur Deutschen im Ausland (VDA) people’s society for Germanism in Foreign Countries helper Badges. There are actually Thirty in the complete set. Date wise they are between 1934 -1939. Below is the complete set.

Tieste List as long as your arm.
I was just put on to Tieste's list and he's got'm on a list as long as your arm. Just about goes on forever. A whole seperate category. There's even one for the US. I couldn't belive it. I don't have the books. Just might have to invest in them to figure out just what these buggers are and what the heck they are worth. Nah, I think I'll just stumble around in the dark with this stuff. Let my kids figure it out after I'm gone or just dump it. Doug
