                      Hi Rainer,
Here are a few better pictures. I don't know if one on right is M1/90 or M7/90. The third picture is a close-up. In typical american fonts it would be 7 not 1.

                      Regards, D.

Daniel - thanks for posting the reverses of these - the third one's marking is M7 IMO - M7 was the RZM code for dagger makers (M7/90 Eickelnberg & Mack, Solingen), however - I've never seen one marked No 25 either before - posting these in a seperate thread might be a good idea. Thanks for posting in any case
Best Regards and keep em coming, guys!

                          HJ tinnie noob question

Hey guys, I'm hoping that you guys don't mind another noob breaking into the conversation here, but I'm relatively new to nazi memorabilia collecting and brand new to the tinnie/award arena. I acquired an HJ pin recently, so naturally I wanted to check and make sure it was legit, so I started looking through this thread with the intention of taking pics of my own and posting them.

However, as I was going through, I got really confused by a couple of the pins that everyone seems to think are fine but just look too brand new (to me) to be real. For instance, Post #2, a couple of the ones in Post #51 and the 2nd one in #91 all look exactly like reproduction pins that I've seen before... can original period pins really still look brand new with bright silver backs after 65 years? If I saw them for sale on someone's table I'd laugh and pass 'em right by... someone please begin to cure me of my ignorance

                            Hitler Youth

                            Well guys,
I have a pin that I bought...first one buy the way, and I'd love to attach the pics, but can't figure out how. Anyway, it has BM 1/122. and RZM on the back. All of these markings are raised. The pin itself is embossed around the edge, very nicely done. Over all, the pin looks almost new which of course has me wondering if its a fake. But like I said this is my first pin so I guess I need an education. Thanks, Oh, if anybody feels pitty and wants to tell me how to post pics without useing a URL, let me know. I don't keep any photos on the net.
                            Thanks, Steve

@Bagel: Feel free to discuss the pins you question in a seperate post
@Steve - you can send the pix to my email and I can post them for you in a seperate post in order to clarify if yours is a good one - Until then, you could do a search on M/122 and check yours against what's coming up.
                              Best Regards
