      Tinnies

I have this cap with the BLUE Diamond Pin.
It has a green top and green piping.
It is signed with the location on the inside.
It has two 1935 tinnies on the side.
I have some questions about it.
Did they use the blue pins on the early Marine hats ?
Is this cap, to good to bo true, or is it a fake ?
I picked it up, cheap, at a gun show.
      Seven more photos follow.
      Thank you,
      mikeburch

These are the two 1935 HJ Tinnies, which go with the following post about the cap.
Sorry, but I missed them the first time around.

All of the badges where you show the reverse are post-war. The Marine-HJ never used those blue pins. For more on that you can search here on WAF or on HJ-research. The M1/63 basic shooting badges are also to be viewed with much suspicion.

Again, where are the mods? This thread needs to be cleaned up if it is going to be a useful resource. Too many fakes that aren't being picked up/commented on.

Any other colour than red & white is fake!!!

Otto Asmann never made any 'real' war time HJ pins!!!! All the other colours blue/green/purple are nothing like marine or something

              HJ collector.

                          Just love these pins!

Here a quite common M1/M145 pin, in my opinion it is a good one. Hope you agree

Here is one not on the list, but there is one on the site, the difference is this one has an unusual pin set up.
