I have three golden HJ badges in my collection. I got all three of them directly from the former wearer of from their families.

Two of my badges are exactely the same as the one Pascal showed here, RZM and 15.

In my opinion those badges are 100% original. I would buy them in every case, no doubts for me.

    Kind Regards

    Hi,

Don't buy the story they al said. But when I read this little story of Max I must say that for the first time I will have some better, more comfortable feeling with these type of Badges. If our german friends (those one without bussiness and money interests) from time to time share there directly family finds with us...

    Regards, Theo

I can't point to any evidence one way or the other about these HJ badges being genuine. I have seen some of them that have a cast look to the back I don't like. I've also seen a few types of pin attachments.

If real, it would have to date from the first few months of 1935, when the RZM had yet to introduce the "M1" licensing prefix for metal insignia. "15" belonged to Ferdinand Hoffst******228;tter, Bonn a. Rhein. The raised disk with the RZM logo and maker number is not seen anywhere else that I know of, but this was a transitional period for the RZM and manufacturers.
