Friends I have a question. There is a small shift on the badge .On the many badges the letter "A" is exact on the center of the wreath.The opinions is necessary. All thanks.

At times the letter A can be off center. From your Pic the badge looks original to me. Post the reverse to be sure though. -

I believe the centre may have come off and been replaced slightly off centre due to the heat used in the repair to the back.
Robin Lumsden has a Golden Party badge with the centre slightly off and he says that some were manufactured this way.
The badge is certainly an original.

It's an original badge and with a very low number. That low number will not make it cheaper but either more expensive!

Because your badge has what is called "rotograving" and not the normal stamped numbers.
My personal feeling is that these are replacement badges made without a number. When someone loses their badge and requests a replacement then the factory engraves the number on as they can't stamp a number on a completed badge.
Could also be due to the fact that it was a quicker method to engrave them, but either way they are a later badge more so than early.
The badge is worth what the seller is asking for it as he has priced it fairly.Comment

Brett has a point there. The type of digits they have used by this one is completly different to the original that were pressed into the badge. Those digits have a very characteristic apperiance.

It is interesting to note that on ALL roto engraved badges you see lines from the pin plate to the bottom of the badge like the badge pictured. Could these be grinding marks removing the old number and a new number applied? Could these be re issued badges? Any opinions?Comment
