Hi Nick, I can understand why you ask about what is wrong.
But there is an attitude amongst many newer collectors that seems to hold that all research, often conducted over many years by older collectors, should be laid bear for all to see. (Research in the old days was much harder than is is today with the Internet. And was often done the hard way by buying fakes) Due to the fakers reading stuff here it is simply not going to happen. They will go away and correct their mistakes.
I know nothing about Blood Orders so I cannot comment why this one is wrong.
I agree we are all hear to learn But listening to older collectors is part of that process. If Ron says it is wrong, that is pretty good for me. Note he says there is actually more than one error in the details. Jon also knows his stuff when it comes to these awards and he is one of the first people I would ask. So if I were interested in buying one, I would then go away and conduct my own research. I would read every thread I could find, save pictures, look at ones for sale and post them here. You will soon find that you will discover things for yourself by doing this. I actually find this the fun part of the hobby. Many collectors will also discuss things via PM that perhaps they would prefer not to post on a worldwide forum.
Cheers, Ade.
