I'm not sure that the cross shown in #105 is a fake although certainly they are hotly debated.
Everybody now wants the certainty of owning a Deumer "19" unless buying on price and as they say, "buy on price, pay twice".

I am not that well versed in third reich medals to comment on the medal production that has been the subject of this continuing thread. But in researching the subject of the 25 year NSDAP long service, I must say that it must be one of the scarcest party awards produced, perhaps second only to the CB. This very old thread discussed the probably production of these medals.

I realize the desire to the party to spread the wealth by farming out production of party material, but was that practical given the extremely small numbers of awardees contemplated? And in wartime yet? And would a manufacturer fail to indicate its pride in producing this award by adding its maker code?
As an aside, why wasn't the RZM involved in the marking of such prestigious awards like the BO, GPB and long service medals?Comment
