Some WHW Tinnies

Hi Bill - not necessarily a stupid question. I think we all are so used to using abbrviations/acronyms here and in everyday life we forget that some people may not know what they mean. WHW = Winterhilfswerk = Winter Relief Work/Organisation. This was set up so that people could buy small trinkets, badges, postcards etc. and the money would go to help various causes.

is from Gau Swabia
belongs to a series of 8 badges = 7 men and 1 lance
The series has the names of the seven Swabia
they were sold on 18 janaur 1942 after the war there was the series again but there was no color in the figures
