Can someone identify these for me?

                    second question:

This appears to be a WHW tinnie. However on the back it says: west-german 5 jahrh. P16 see scans. Anyone know about this? This seems to be an awfully inexpensive tinnie to reproduce.

Marvin, You have one out of a set of seven Old Germanic Shields. This one is the Hexagonal form shield from western Germany not post war west- Germany. This set was issued Oktober 1941 by the Kriegswinterhilfswerk.

Thanks very much James for your quick response. That clears up my inquiry.

Shields (back a couple of posts)

These are from a set of 21 sold throughout Baden (Gau 1) by the WHW on the 15th and 16th January 1938. There are two types for each one as shown in the post (which could make the set 42). Each of 20 shields displays the tools used by various craftsmen, in this case Gardener and Stone Mason. The 21st shield has the Arms of the German Craftsman, a vertical hammer set over a crossed Oak leaf and Acorn.

                                WHW miscellany

I don't collect WHW, but have been collecting so long that I find I do have a number of WHW pieces, which I thought might be of interest.
First is a framed (by the vet) group of WHW window Plakats.
