Hi all. Thanks a lot for your help. This medal was sold to me as a Souval medal not an original one. Because that I think it was a nice deal. Unfortunately I cannot pay the amount of money the sellers ask for the original medal.

This response is quite interesting -- can you add the names of the other BO manufacturers you're referring to, other than Schmidhäussler?

Unfortunately I have no idea of the makers' names--this is based on the examination of a lot of 2nd type BOs. There are differences in the dies used, and because the medal was struck of .800 silver, there should have been virtually no wear to the dies.
