I have taken the "list" to the Hitler Youth Research Forum - the proper place for a thread of this nature, where it can be edited and updated on a regular basis. Not really something i was interested in, but why not? Following other fakes in this manner has proved fruitful.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING, GARY SYMONDS:
I do not wish to talk to you, to answer any mentally-challenged questions you have, to defend myself against your insane baiting and senile troll posts. I want N O T H I N G at all to do with you. Not today, not next week, and not in the near future.
Continue ruining threads if you will, just know, that no matter what you post - directed at me - will fall on deaf ears, and will not recieve so much as a peep of a reply.

But Jo, wouldnt it be great to see what kind of research conclusion Gary would write down after having an e-mailadres and bussinessadress? Maybe it would be even better as "all dealers sell them thus they must be real".
Nice discovery of that "4". Going to look it up in your Teno book tomorrow.

Jo, you made an express representation of fact, that you know who the faker is on the HJ M/1/70s, and the Teno Honor Badge.
Well, that is quite a feat. Wow, good for you, if it were true.
But we know that is simply one of your many prevarications of the truth, because you merely made this statement up, just like so many of your nonsensical statements, "prancing around the fire" etc.
Now I know that all of your yes men such as Herr Jabnus will accept anything you say, but believe it or not, your failure to back up your outlandish claims is having an affect on your credibilty among the memberhship that is capable of thinking for themselves, as few as they are.
Come on Jo, provide us the name, email address, and business address of this master faker, if you have it, which I doubt, since you merely made this up.
Right, I forgot, silly me, you won't respond. God, that hurts. I surely will miss your cogent and factual responses, that ends all debate on whatever the topic may be.
Well Jo, give this secret info as to the superfaker's secret identity to your lackey Jabnus, and he can then reveal to the membership this sinister person ruining the HJ and Teno world of badge collecting.
Come on Jo, the whole world is waiting! You made that BS claim, now put your money where your mouth is.Last edited by Gary Symonds; 04-14-2017, 04:14 PM.

Gary, i really hope you are a better lawyer than collector, even more that your clients never google you and come here on WAF. All you ever do is troll and try to discredit everyone who talks about the fakes in your collection. Here is a question for you: do you also own these HJ fakes?
How about trying to come up with some evidence for yourself for just once? Isn't that what a lawyer does? Wait... we know the answer... It gets boring hearing some old fossil talk (at best) about his "extensive library" of out of date books, or keeps claiming originality because this or that dealer sells a fake. Face it, this hobby changes, fakes get unmasked, it aint 1968 anymore and not everything that shnes is real gold.
Maybe it's better to crawl under a rock and be happy with all your shiny fakes and believe in your own stories?
Edit: i see you changed your post again. I dont always accept everything Jo says, thats you trolling again, i don't care if someone like you says this. If someone states something that can be controlled scientifically by every WAF member who tries to understand it, then yes i believe what i read or see. You don't, you play dumb.
Here's a nice topic: LINK We didn't agree there at once at all, but the result was pretty good and many WAF members benefited from it. Of course not clowns like you who still defend fakes like these, or the HJ badge here or actually each and every fake you own. One simple question for you: which of your many dozens of fakes we have have all read about here on the forum DO you agree on is fake? Trolls are not hard to spot Gary, not hard at all.Last edited by jabnus; 04-14-2017, 04:14 PM.

Jabnus, I am a criminal trial attorney. Jury trials are a search for the truth, nothing more.
The WAF is supposed to be a search for the truth. Something you don't care about, since you are incapable of thinking for yourself, and accept anything that Rivett says.
You cannot accept the fact that I demand evidence, that a badge is fake, not just an opinion, but evidence. And Jo's "prancing around the fire" just will not do, except for guy's like you, incapable of independent thought.
Jabnus, get a life.
Think for yourself.

It certainly is the best place for a long term HJ-related project, an hour after the thread started, 8 more numbers/badges were added.
Not only that, but for easy viewing too, as the threads can be edited and updated.
That is vital with an item like this, because, only 4-5 years ago, the general concensus was that these were genuine! Even the mighty Micro Jo was on the side of the yay sayers until he took the time to gather a few examples and inspect them in detail.

That is how i worked out the Hitlerjugend Leistungsabzeichen, with the number four
Because the first ones were hollow struck in iron with no makers marks, the second were solid struck, also with only a number and no markers marks, and then a bit later they start adding the RZM mark as well as a few different makers marks.
At one point i owned ten of the very early ones, and it bugged me that i couldn`t say for sure who made them. The number four solved that nagging question for me when i examined (it) them under the microscope, and found the exact same minute oddity on the tip of the number four, struck into the early hollow ones, the later ones - and the later maker/RZM marked ones.
So now we know - thanks to a detailed microscopic analysis of the number four - that the maker M1/101 was the first maker, responsible for the hollow tinnie-like first versions, as well as the unmarked versions that followed.
A microscope, the number four, and the mystery is solved.
Everything else is simply Fake News!

I see that Gary is on form again. How I miss his arguments with Colin Davie. Veritable feasts of nonsense where neither side ever had anything to offer other than subjective opinion. As someone already said Gary, why do you demand, demand, demand but NEVER provide anything yourself? Simple gainsaying will not advance the study of the M1/70 but having said that, you seem more driven by your dislike of Rivett than anything else so perhaps he is right to ignore your questions.

I am the owner of the gold hj badge 8693. Do I think its original? I do have a slight doubt but maybe my slight doubt is due to some negative opinions. Every fake badge has its own fault, this badge as I can see does not have any apart from the high number and with such a high number - which would mean that the badge was not a early issue - would the ges.gesch still be used? The M1/70 is the same as the M1/78 which is said to be original. So could the M1/70 have been unissued with the numbers being added post war?Last edited by Dietrich Maerz; 04-15-2017, 10:47 AM. Reason: I corrected spelling and punctuation so it is readable and understandable....

Pretty impressive effort.
Tell us his name.
