Hi Jon, congratulations for your kind work

Although collecting BO's is also above my economical level, I would like to have a quality monographic book about it.

I have voted for the post at cost option.

    Regards

    Pedro

Hi guys, I am sending the books to print today, they will start coming back in a couple of weeks time. Will be in time for SOS. I have opted for this grey linen cover rather than the black linen as my proof copy was black and it shows up every mark, whereas the grey linen doesn't . I will post details about payment shortly, PayPal will be the way to go. I can get the book and cardboard , Just under 1 kg and so it will help on keeping the postage cost down. Jon

        Jon,

any idea what kind of paper it will be printed on?

        Heavy, glossy?

what would you compare it to?

Hi, the paper is very good quality, it is 200 gram photo paper. I have opted non-gloss, tried gloss but its not such a nice finish IMO.

It is made from FSC (Forest stewardship Council) certified paper, and is printed in the UK http://www.fsc-uk.org/en-uk In order to achieve this certification Forests are inspected and certified against strict standards based on FSC’s 10 Principles of Forest Stewardship. These inspections are undertaken by independent organisations, such as the Soil Association, that are accredited by the FSC. In order to be given FSC certification a forest must be managed in an environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable manner. This is what makes the FSC system unique and ensures that a forest is well-managed from the protection of indigenous people’s rights to the methods of felling trees. Forests that meet these strict standards are given FSC certification and the timber allowed to carry the FSC label.

So to answer your question 'what is it like', I'm not sure!. It's A4 in size, 106 pages in total and the pages are really quality to the feel, not cheap thin paper like some books,, grey linen cover, sustainable and responsibly sourced paper and UK made, and full of blood orders.

            Jon,

I am looking forward to the book and I don't even have a Blood Order!

I have always admired your postings so this is a good way to see all of your items in one place.

Oh and I'm a bit of a perfectionist , so although it may not be up to publishing house quality I am proud of the outcome. There is no way I would be putting crap out there, its my name after all. A couple of guys that have seen it gave very good feedback and I've changed a few things since after that feedback.

Thanks Gary, I hope it sits well on your shelf, it's been a labour of love and I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

Ok guys here are the payment/postage/delivery details.

I would ask that you use paypal and that I receive funds in £ - UK sterling

                        Calculate your own total, using:
                        The book £55
UK postage (tracked & signed for) £5
Europe postage £10 airmail OR £15 (tracked & signed for)
America & Worldwide airmail £15 OR £20 (tracked & signed for)

All books will be sent from England, UK. The book has a plain cover also and is shipped in a cardboard packet for protection.

Please paypal gift option to jon.fish@talktalk.net

I need in your paypal payment comments box:
                        -Your postage address
-If you would like standard airmail or International tracked & signed for. Signed for mail will cover £50 compensation so we can recover the book cost and re-send if the original is lost en-route, please be aware this is the buyers choice and at your risk if you choose the regular mail option (I will get proof of postage for regular mail, but that's it.)
-Your WAF handle name in the comments box (so I can correspond orders to the poll on this thread)
-If you would like the book dedicated in the front who I should make it out to, tell me what you would like, if at all

Thank you all very much, I hope you enjoy the book. Please allow me a month or so to get all the books out, I want to make sure I do this properly and have the SOS to attend also next week. Those of you who are picking up at SOS just paypal me £55 and then if I don't see you at the show you can still get it from Mikes table and no cash needs to change hands.

                        Regards
                        Jon
