The artistic design of this chest has substantial similarity in the design of the Erbhof sign which is an official Reichsnährstand piece as well.

The Erbhof sign was officially introduced on the 13th of April 1937..

          Two thumbs up, Thorsten

            Thank you!

As we know the Reichsnährstand leaders had to be members of the SS as well.

The official SS celebration of summer solstice and opening of the Sachsenhain in 1935 was personally attended by Himmler and this event certainly had a cultural impact on his leading comrades in an around that region as well as within the SS as a whole.

Very striking piece! The simplicity of the design and the strong visual message really tie it to the spirit of the RNS.

                  Jabnus,

I love Third Reich cultural items, I also love some of Thorsten's/ Quickie's pieces. I also appreciate your comments so thanks for reminding us of the controversy surrounding these posts. It is always important to keep an open mind regarding any posts on the WAF,

                  Cheers,
                  Michael

For future reference (for as long as this vehcle of a topic stays open):

This new cultural topic is Thorsten's last straw-- to be able to sell on the e-stand, he NEEDS a place where he can artifically, with made up false history, make everyday items seem more interesting.

So yes, he is afraid to continue discussion here and tries other topics to shift attention from now. This is not new, we saw this dozens of times before on WAF. Let the heated disussion go elsewhere, eventually have that topic closed or even more conveniently for him deleted by a mod and then after a few weeks or months when things have calmed down just slowly continue here again. For christs sake, look at him praising himself in THIS topic, if it werent so serious damaging to the hobby it would be the best joke ever!

The current diversion discussion is now here in another topic about cultural plates:

Check this also out: CLOSED TOPIC

Ss section moderator Gary Wood forbid Thorsten to open any new topics becasuse he knows after closing the old over 100 pages long first cultural ttopic that Thorsten only tells lies and shows the occasional orginal item to sell his fakes or everyday German cultural items as SS or so called real WWII items on the E-stand. This is why Thorsten can not post anymore in the SS section.

Buuuut..... this is no problem for Thorsten, being forbidden to post in the SS section only means he simply has to go to other forumsections with mods that dont know his old forumhistory. You see, it is really easy. And here we are ladies and gentleman, the new Cultural topic, eactly the same as the old one that was closed in the SS section becasuse Thorsten was caught and outed as a fraud.

Simply make another forumalias too (how many has he now, im sure more than just these two) and continue here. It is all exactly the same as before. Dont take my word for it, simply read it yourself in all the closed topics.

Wait...., the closed tapestry topic linked here above by moderator Gary Wood, the forbidding to post and sell on the SS section and the E-stand....

That is no problem for Thorsten, just look here with his second forumalias Quicky, currently selling again on the E-stand:

                      ANOTHER TAPESTRY!!!!

And only for 1800 euro's!!! A bargain!!!! Well, only if you dont know that these items are still being made today and dont know that these are not that expensive at all. Who wants the names of a several old WAF members that bought these tapestries for thousands from Thorsten and left the forum in disappointment after they found out they were frauded? Any moderator can pm me and ill give them the names.

Can please someone with at least a little knowledge on cultural items finally ban Thorsten and close this ridiculous topic? On behalf of all collectors and paying WAF members: please post this in the moderator section and discuss this. Contact me, Vince or pm some of the old contributors like Michael Fay. Maybe then the people who really collect this stuff will return and we can start wading out all the fake items Thorsten posted for years here on WAF.

Thorsten, you can type all the lies, made up names or anything you want, it won't change a thing. Everyone knows about programs like TOR to have multipleaccounts, its common knowledge.

What is not about to change is your posts and desperate need for attention to legitimize all your everyday flee market stuff, you are in need for a topic like this on WAF to sell on the e-stand, there simply is no hiding.

One can never have enough of these extraordinary pieces really, lol!

The 93er sideboard is certainly one of my favourites.
